Are you getting enough fruits and veggies? According to the “Fruits & Veggies, More Matters” campaign, it is recommended to eat between 5-9 fruits and veggies a day. A variety of fruits and vegetables is key as well, as each of them contains different vitamins and minerals needed for the body to properly function. Think dark leafy greens, purples, oranges, yellows, and reds. Try finding them at their peak time or else buying them from the freezer section, as most brands will pick their produce at the peak season and freeze them then. You can roast them, grill them, bake them, or even make smoothies with them! Have fun and be creative!
