Superfood spirulina is so great for decreasing inflammation in the body, increasing our energy levels, and brightening our skin! ❤️☀️
Ingredients:
1 fresh or frozen banana, sliced
1/2 cup frozen blueberries
1 heaping handful of fresh spinach
1Tbsp flax seed, ground or whole
1 scoop vanilla protein powder (I use J+ Complete or Garden of Life)
1 tsp. spirulina powder
1 cup unsweetened almond milk (or other non dairy alternative)
Toppings (Optional): 1/2 sliced banana, 1 Tbsp. blueberries or raspberries, 2-3 strawberries sliced, 1-2 sliced kiwi, 1/2 tsp chia seeds, 1 tsp unsweetened coconut flakes
Directions:
Place all ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth.
Pour into a bowl and top with toppings. Enjoy!
